Here’s a simple golf tip to make sure that your club starts on the proper path on the backswing. Golfers often get into trouble and out of sequence when they take the club too far inside on the backswing. This causes them to be laid off at the top and to come into the ball on a steep plane, which causes inconsistent shots.
To start this golf tip, get a small piece of wood and place it directly behind your club head. As you take the club back, push the piece of wood away from the ball making your club travel more down the path of the target line. From there, rotate to the top, where you should be in perfect position to make a good strike at the ball.
When choosing a productive golf tip to implement during a round, players should focus on one aspect of their game that is proving inconsistent. Players who are having trouble making regular contact with their irons, or controlling distances, should focus on keeping a strong left side. Any golf tip dealing with a strong left side refers to the point of impact on an iron shot, where excellent ball strikers are on a vertical line from the shoulder through the hands to the leading leg. A strong left side is an indication that all the working parts of the swing have come together at contact, striking the ball cleanly before the turf. Great iron players have strong left wrists and excellent balance.

One of the more popular golf tips among teaching professionals and tour players is to implement hybrids for short pitch shots around the green. Players who find themselves a short distance from the green might benefit from a golf tip to use a hybrid or fairway wood with a bit of loft. The idea behind hitting a pitch with a hybrid or fairway wood is to pop the ball in the air just long enough to get it to the putting surface. Due to the forgiveness of today’s hybrids and fairway woods, middle-handicap players are less likely to fluff or blade the shot. It is imperative to use a putting stroke and keep the wrists strong when pitching with a hybrid or wood from just off the green.

If you could take just one golf tip, this would be the one. It’s all about your head, and more specifically, keeping your head on the course. Hitting straight shots and putting the ball close to the pin is all well and good, but a key golf tip is to make sure that you are thinking your way around the course. Far too many players leave shots out there just because they failed to think things through.
So you’re in the woods, and you think you can shoot a 4-foot gap between some trees. Sounds nice in ideal, but how realistic is that going to be? Don’t make huge mistakes, and your score will look at a lot better at the end of the round. The big numbers are what kill rounds.

Golf is a fun sport which can be played by anyone of any age. Golf is a difficult sport to master, but following a few beginner golf tips can ensure you will good be enough to have fun.
The first of many basic beginner golf tips is to keep your eye on the ball. When swinging be sure to keep your head down and your eyes focused. By lifting your head and taking your eye off the ball, your swing is bound to alter enough to either miss the ball or not hit it cleanly.
The next beginner golf tip is to not swing too hard. Taking a soft swing ensures you will have more control over the club and strong contact is much more likely than swinging hard.
I was able to pass along a useful golf tip to my wife yesterday at the course, and she immediately started hitting the ball further. She is just a beginning player, and after years of watching me play, she decided to get in on the action. I’ve been trying to help her as much as I can, and I’ve been considering hiring a teacher. I give her a useful golf tip every once in a while, and she seems to be improving. We’re having a lot of fun golfing together and I wish we had started doing this years ago. I’m pretty sure she feels the same way.
