Improve Your Driving

By admin, July 26, 2010 6:07 pm

A great driving tip to help your golf game is to ditch the driver completely. The driver is the longest club in the bag and has the lowest amount of loft. The combination of low loft and a long shaft make the driver the most difficult club in the bag to control. Play one round without a driver and see if your driving stats improve. Chances are that they will. You will hit more fairways. less out of bounds. and fewer hazards. leading you to shooting better scores. Instead of a driver. consider teeing off with a fairway wood. Most amateurs will hit their 3 wood about as far as the driver. but the added loft and shorter length will create more accurate shots with a smaller range of shot dispersion.

Following “The Little Red Book” and “And if You Play Golf, You’re My Friend,” the third book in the series, “For All Who Love the
Game,” focuses on “Lessons and Teachings for Women.” Once again, Harvey Penick writes a simple golf instruction book that reflects on
the many women, both amateurs and professionals, from whom he had the privilege of teaching or learning.

Using the same simple language and clear images that made his first two books international best-sellers, Mr. Penick’s insightful wisdom for women golfers is timeless. His techniques to help women gain more power and distance and to determine when and where to outplay their male counterparts are priceless nuggets of gold. He teaches how every woman, regardless of her atheletic abilities, can play and enjoy golf to its fullest.

Regardless of your experience or lack thereof, this book is a must read for all women golfers!
